MSA’s Biotechnology Students Shine at “Bridging Gaps in Oncology 2024” Conference
October University For Modern Sciences And Arts (MSA) is proud to highlight the impressive achievement of our talented students from the Faculty of Biotechnology, who recently participated in the “Bridging Gaps in Oncology 2024” conference. The team, consisting of Zohor Samir, Yasmin Ahmed, Dana Abdelmonem, Nehal Alaa, and research assistant Mariam Attia, presented their academic poster on a groundbreaking project focused on oncology research.
Their work centered around a cost-effective 3D Scanning System designed for real-time monitoring of 3D cell cultures, providing enhanced precision in tumor modeling and analysis. The prototype they developed aims to revolutionize the accuracy of tumor studies and offer an efficient, affordable solution for researchers in the field.
The students received high praise for their outstanding presentation and were acknowledged for their excellent preparation, creativity, and dedication to advancing scientific knowledge. Their innovative approach was seen as a significant contribution to bridging gaps in oncology research.
This project was conducted in the Prototyping Research Lab at the Faculty of Biotechnology, under the expert supervision of Dr. Ahmed Gomaa. His mentorship was invaluable in guiding the team throughout their research and helping them bring their vision to life.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Zohor, Yasmin, Dana, Nehal, and the research assistant Mariam, and wish them continued success as they make meaningful strides in the field of biotechnology.
