MSA’s Engineering Faculty Members Shine at the 12th World Urban Forum with Award-Winning Project
October University for Modern Sciences and Arts (MSA) proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of three distinguished faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture Department: Salma Mohamed Ibrahim Roshdy, Abeer Ahmed Ramadan Mohamed, and Eman Ayman Abdelhalim Ali. These dedicated educators earned an honorary award for their groundbreaking project, “Oul Makram Pedestrian Bridge,” at the esteemed World Urban Forum 12 (WUF12), held under the “Aqoul” engineering competition.
Their innovative project was recognized for its unique design and vision to elevate Egypt’s infrastructure, garnering the prestigious honor under the auspices of the Ministry of population, facilities and Urban Communities, the Ministry of Local Development, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate.
This award not only celebrates their dedication to advancing sustainable urban solutions but also emphasizes the university’s commitment to nurturing creative minds capable of shaping a better future.
